French Lick and West Baden Springs, Ind. (Chicago Tribune)
From The Chicago Tribune:
The gracefully rolling farmland of southern Indiana is full of surprises: a movie-set baseball stadium, a monastery that makes and sells caskets, an Amish village, a cave that can be explored only by boat, one of Abe Lincoln's log cabin and a town called Santa Claus. But the twin jewels in this crown are a pair of palatial Victorian hotels restored to their turn-of-the-century grandeur: the 1902 West Baden Springs Hotel and the French Lick Springs Hotel. Together they anchor a destination called French Lick Resort Casino.
